(More customer reviews)They are waterproof, but do trap sweat from your hands inside. When the outside of the gloves get wet they soak up water causing them to get heavy and a little uncomfortable. The inside is soft wool which keeps your hands relatively warm. The construction of the gloves are tough, but they need to be redesigned to improve the moisture issues. I wouldn't purchase these gloves again, but would buy other Youngstown work gloves (that don't have this waterproof membrane that captures moisture, and outside insulated layers that soak up water).

(More customer reviews)I purchased these gloves for specifically working outdoors in cold weather. Previous gloves I've worn were too bulky to do anything with my fingers...and any thinner material gloves gave me better use of my fingers but left my hands too exposed to the cold air. I was hoping this would allow me to work with my fingers and keep my hands warm.
They are very tight fitting, have a great grip to them with reinforced palms and are excellent to work in. However, after being outside in below freezing conditions for more than 10 minutes, my hands were so cold my fingers were numb. The rubber palm grip became hard and frozen and my hands felt so cold like air was going right through the gloves. So, I am back to bigger bulkier gloves just to stay warm outside. These are nice if you need to briefly work outside or absolutely need better control with your fingers. As for cold weather resistant...NOT SO MUCH.
