I work as a Longshoreman outside on the docks & bought these after getting a mild case of frostbite on my fingers back in November while wear a pair of regular ole palm coated gloves during a snow storm and handling wet metal lashing bars. Your hands stay so warm in these that if it's warmer than 50 degrees outside they will be too warm. Recently I had to keep taking them off just to cool down. The fit is great, nice and snug. Got lot of complements the first time I took them out of my bag and laid them on the table. I probably would have rated these 5 stars but I haven't had a chance to test the waterproof performance yet since I haven't worn them in the rain or used them while handling anything wet. Which seems like a joke since I live in Seattle and it rains all of the time...Right?
