Fram PH6017A Motorcycle Oil Filter Review

(More customer reviews)My experience by no means is a proven scientific method of analysis, but the trend I have experienced with Fram filters has been one of reliability. I used Fram on everything from motorcycles, ATVs, cars and my 4x4 trucks. Not one has shown any indication of failure. My truck with over 300K miles is well within its compression window and doesn't blow the least bit of smoke. My motorcycle has over 50K miles and it too doesn't show any appreciable wear.
Does that mean Fram is flawless? Nothing is, but I changed 1000s of engine oil for myself and 100s of friends over 30yrs. I am presently using this 6017A series on a Polaris ATV which is exposed to extreme conditions in the Florida swamps with much success.
Maybe Fram fails easier than others when you push the envelope with going long on an oil change interval. Since I change oil religiously, I may never know what the failure point of a Fram filter is, and I am certainly not interested in finding out the hard way.
I trust Fram as good balance between quality, reliability and cost.

WARN 71072 Neoprene Winch Cover Review

To my suprise it does not actually cover the entire winch, just the top and sides like a hat, which is disappointing. Based on the picture of it I expected it to wrap around with velcro closure or somethig for total protection. The cover seems well made though and is a good fit. Note: the wires for your winch must run downward or they prevent the cover from from fitting on all the way.

Clymer Harley Davidson FLS/FXS (00-05) Manual M423-2 Review

(More customer reviews)This book covers majority of what you'd like to fix / replace on your Harley. I can tell you it's missing some simple steps for rookies such as "How to remove the handle grips."
You won't always find the info your looking for in the section you'd think to find it. But it's probably in the book none the less.
Great for working down in the garage, however a PDF version would be nice so you can search for what you need and save yourself a lot of time.
Definitely the authoritive Harley repair manual.
4 out of 5 stars for me! But well worth the money. (Take your bike to Harley one time when the warranty runs out and you'll understand.)

Took about 30 minutes to install them. They look absolutely great, and I was really surprised at how well they keep the rain out. I've seen other deflectors that are the stick on type that go outside the window and they look horrible. These are sleek and fit right into the window channels. Highly recommended if you're looking for deflectors.

(More customer reviews)I was given a set of these gloves to evaluate for a magazine story, along with a couple of sets of the regular MW gloves with the wrist straps. I fell in love with all of the wrist strap gloves (the more common style) for all the automotive and hobby farm work I do. The best feature of the MW gloves are the way the fingers are made. They fit better and allow for a better sense of touch and more detailed work than any glove I've ever owned. The other impressive feature about the MW gloves are how long they last. I get out to work as often as possible... nowhere near full time... but I was still wearing out at least two or three sets of hardware store gloves a year. The MW gloves were giving me at least a year. When I finally used up the "free sample" wrist strap gloves, I finally put the Fast Fits to work and found my true "glove love." I'm on and off with my gloves a lot and the straps became a bit of a pain. The Fast Fit gloves come on an off easily but they stay on when you want them to. The perfect compromise for me. I need gloves more than most because I go from being an office worker to a laborer at a moment's notice. I spend most of my time pecking on a computer keyboard and my hands are not tough like they once were. These gloves offer a great fit, extraordinary feel and outstanding wear. My hands are addicted.

NOVUS PC-20 Plastic Fine Scratch Remover - 8 oz. Review

(More customer reviews)I originally purchased this to try to remove a scratch on an acrylic instrument panel cover on my BMW R1200RT motorcycle. My only two choices were repair or replace. Repair would cost me $180 for the plastic cover AND about 2 hours of time to replace. Or the few dollars for this Novus product. On the motorcycle discussion forums, nearly everyone recommended it, and I though "oh well, it can't hurt). It was amazing. I then tried it on a motorcycle helmet face shield which I had scratched. Fixed. I started to look for things to repair. It was like a game for me.
It cannot repair deep scratches, but what will? This product is more for surface scratches, those that you can't feel with your fingernail. Also, it works best on acrylic, which is a softer plastic. If you have polycarbonate (also called Lexan), you need the Novus #3 polish, followed by the #2. But that works too.
Great product for a small cost. Can't complain about that!

The price was way below the normal cost and I thought I was getting a bargain. When it arrived it not only did not fit but was for a completely different model. I called customer service and was advised that they would only give me a refund and would not send me the one that fit my truck even though they had them in stock. The price I paid was so reasonable that I didn't want to wast my time by going through all the B.S. of the refund process. Be careful buying stuff from these people, they will stick it to you. I've decided not to make any more purchases from Amazon as I feel that their selling policy and customer service STINKS!!!!! I am telling anyone who will listen that Amazon does not do the right thing for it's customers and that they should shop somewhere else.

A little baggy but I just added 4 tiny clips to hold it down in the necessary spots (otherwise it can blow off): the strap holds it to stop it from blowing away completely but doesn't do much in way of holding it over the hood/hatch. I unfortunately had to pay a lot on shipping as I'm in Canada and couldn't find a product like this for this cost.
It's great for those snowy/icy mornings!
A little tricky to put on in the wind. So far it has been able to stand up to the elements. Very satisfied.
